Missoni Spring ’11 Ads Featuring Leighton Meester

Happy Friday! Have you seen the latest Missoni Spring 2011 ads yet? Among the Missoni family featured in the ads are also some of their friends and Leighton Meester. Leighton looks beautiful as ever in the ads. The shot seems very playful and quirky. The clothes and background has a vintage and boho feel to it. What do you think?

William Rast for Target

Target is once again debuting a new designer collaboration line. This time it is with William Rast, the fashion brand from Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala. The collection will feature shirts and jackets for both men and women as well as leggings and skirts and of course William Rast’s signature premium denim. The pieces will range from $18 to $200 and will debut in-stores and online on December 19th until January 22nd. I am not in love with the clothes featured, but will definitely check it out. I’ve always liked William Rast denim so I’m sure I will be able to find a few pieces of denim. The tan leather jacket in particular looks great. I really like the pairing of it with the dressy skirt or dress. It would be a very versatile piece to have.

Celebrity Inspired Fall Looks 2

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and a good Monday. I had such a great time on my little getaway this past weekend in Chicago. It was a quick trip, but I did sneak in a little shopping. Look for a blog post later this week if you want to see what I got! Fall is my favorite time of year and what I LOVE most about it is the fashion of course. I love everything from the layering of sweaters and coats to the abundant amounts of fall accessories like scarves, hats, gloves and boots. Another fun thing about Fall fashion is drawing inspiration from my favorite celebrities. The top image is of one of my favorite girls, Rachel Bilson from the Celebrity Style Blog. The outfit is a mix of casual everyday wear with a rocker edge, but also still girly. Here are some more of my favorite celebrity looks. Enjoy!

Also an update about Eric Daman For Charlotte Russe. If you got the chance to watch tonight’s episode of Gossip Girl you can see Eric’s new line on the models in the scene where Jenny Humphrey is interviewing with Tim Gunn. I haven’t had a chance to see the dresses in person, but plan on it sometime this week. I really like Tim Gunn and it was fun to see him on the show. I had an opportunity to meet him a couple of years ago at a book signing and he was so nice and funny!

Can you believe that Christmas is only about 8 weeks away? Have you started shopping yet or are you like me and do it all at once the couple weeks before? I have some great ideas this year from some of favorite shops, so I am excited to share them with you in the weeks to come!

Eric Daman For Charlotte Russe

Eric Daman, the Emmy Award-winning costume designer for the cast of Gossip Girl is launching a new line of party dresses, shoes and accessories for Charlotte Russe. The line is set to be released in stores on October 24, but you can find a few dresses online now! Also everything is under $50. Here is what Eric said about his new line:

“I really feel I know the Charlotte Russe customer so well.  And I felt the need to do party dresses because their is such a void out there for cute, fun, not super expensive dresses. Expect up to the minute trends–velvet, one shoulder, sequins, peek-a-boo lace and a different shape and size dress for every girl”.

I don’t shop at Charlotte Russe, but I wouldn’t mind stopping in to check out this new line. I love Gossip Girl and think Eric Daman is an amazing designer. Eric has done such an amazing job dressing each character on the show and developing their style over the years. Each character has their own unique style and I always look forward to seeing what they they will wear next. Not only do the girls on the show wear the most amazing and newest clothes, shoes and handbags, but the guys look great as well. I love it when designers do collaborations with retailers! Take a look at the new line and tell me what you think. Anything catch your eye?

Keira Knightely wearing Nina Ricci Resort 2011

I really adore Keira Knightley and she has been looking even more fabulous with her new short hair. Here she is at the after party for the London Film Festival Premier of “Never Let Me Go”, wearing a beautiful lace dress from the Nina Ricci Resort 2011 line. The picture below is from the Chanel Spring/Summer Ready to Wear Fashion show. Gorgeous right? I mentioned her the other week in my “Celebrity Inspired Fall Looks” post.

When I first saw the Nina Ricci dress I immediately feel in love with it. It’s white and lace, very feminine, but also a little sexy with some skin showing. Of course I had to look up the dress and when I saw the rest of the line, I loved every single piece in it and thought I should share with you. Seeing beautiful gowns and outfits just makes me so happy. I hope you enjoy!

Lauren Conrad New Book Release

Lauren Conrad just released two books yesterday. One is a style and fashion book, titled “STYLE” and the other one is the third book from her  L.A. Candy series titled “Sugar and Spice”. These are some photos from the NYC Barnes and Noble book signing. I think she looks so gorgeous!

I think she looks very beautiful and elegant in her Notte by Marchesa Lace Dress. Her is hair is perfect as always and her makeup is so feminine and natural.

I have not read any books from her L.A. Candy series, but I did pick up the “STYLE” book. I’ve always admired Lauren’s style and I’m glad she came out with a book. Her book is filled with great photos and topics.  She includes everything from how to build your wardrobe to how to change your makeup to go from day to night in less than 10 minutes. This is great for anyone who really enjoys Lauren’s style and not only want to learn about how she dresses, but also all find out all her style and beauty secrets. I have to admit, one of my favorite part of the book was the handbags and shoes section.

Here are so photos from the book:

Here styling a simple black dress multiple ways. Love it!

Some Hair and Beauty.

And even helpful travel tips for dressing and packing.

I have to say, I am loving her even more after reading her book. I just really enjoy everything about her style. Her looks are always so classic, simple and feminine. Her makeup and hair is always flawless. Very natural and stunning. It was fun to flip through the entire book and every topic was something I want to read about. It definitely kept my attention, unlike many other Style and fashion book. But you have to check out the book for yourself to see what I am talking about. I hope you found this fun and interesting. Have a fabulous weekend!

Celebrity Inspired Fall Looks

I can’t tell you how much I adore Fall. The crisp weather, the beautiful foliage, the pumpkin lattes, and of course the fashion (trench coats, berets and abundance of scarves)! Thinking about it makes me so happy. Here are some celebrity Fall looks that I really love. I hope it inspires you as much as it did for me to have fun with your wardrobe this Fall.

Olivia Palermo

I love the pink coat with the beautiful lace dress. Pairing it with the rocker black heels is perfect.

I love everything about this outfit from head to toe. Gorgeous hair, check. Big black sunglasses, check. Just the right amount of jewelry, check. Statement bag since the whole outfit is every casual and subtle, check. Sky high rocker platform sandals, check. I am really loving this girl!

I found this inspirational outfit on Polyvore. It has a few things I like this Fall, Olivia Palmero, the color tan mix with black, and capes, not to mention the awesome accessories.

Keira Knightley

Don’t you love her new bob? She is absolutely stunning. Her makeup is also gorgeous.

Clémence Poésy

A very simple, yet feminine outfit.

Sarah Jessica Parker

A fun way to dress up a military jacket! Leave it to her to make it work.

Alexa Chung

A classic trench is a key piece in your Fall wardrobe, but I am loving the bag!

Rachel Bilson

Rachel is always spot on with her outfits. I love the way she mixes each piece, feminine, but also with some leather. Just gorgeous and perfect for Fall!

Lauren Conrad

The top outfit is a nice way to dress up shorts (if you can still wear them) for Fall and the bottom one is Fall basic, stripes. Very nicely done.

Emma Watson

Don’t you think this is the perfect Fall outfit for a casual day out shopping for strolling through the apple orchards?

Leighton Meester

A nice look for the Fall’s every so popular cargo skinny pants.

What do you love about Fall? Are there any Fall Fashion/Looks that are inspiring you?

K
